Missing paint behind estate hinges? S204

Hi All,

Recently got myself an S204...C63 no less.

When I got it home I realised that at the rear of the roof, the area just behind the estate hinges the top coat of paint seems to have come away and is showing the primer. These are very small areas maybe half a cm squared each side (in exactly the same place) but annoying, is this a common issue with the 204 estates or was my car painted on a friday by robots couldn't be bothered?

Hello and welcome , that sounds odd. Any chance of a few photos of the area mentioned ?

Maybe the hinges have been moved/adjusted at some point. The hinges are on before the car is painted on many cars so possibly there wont be paint underneath.

Here you go the area just behind the hinge is missing paint....as os the back of the hinge as you can see....seems to be a manufacturing fault that I'll cover up with a touch up stick....wondered if anyone else had this on an estate or I am just unlucky?

Lools like the parts been rubbing on the sides .
