c-class W204 2014
Hi Everyone

Funny one. About to do some servicing on my 2014 c class - And I noticed my Vacuum Reservoir Air Tank had been removed / is missing!
The Car was into my local garage for maintenance a couple months back, and hasbeen driving ok since.

What function does this serve in the car, and is it straightforward to replace.
Any thoughts appreciated.

update on this... I had a further look and cant see any loose pipes suggesting this was removed intentionally? puzzled!
Any thoughts appreciated.

Are you sure it was there in the first place? The brake servo reservoir may be built into the master cylinder. With the engine switched off and the car stationary (obviously!) you should be able to apply the brakes a couple of times before the pedal goes hard. You should also be able to hear the vacuum going out of the system when you press the pedal.

Thanks Ernie. Really useful. Checked and you're right. Could hear it. Reassured.

For info in case useful for anyone else, this was a 2014 220 CDI w204..om651
