ML 270 cdi 02 plate fault P2203

I need help, I have just replaced the conductor plate on my 02 plate ML 270cdi at the weekend. It was still on Limp Mode after the change so I have had a mobile diagnostics tech out today he cleared stored faults and the present fault which was P2203 speed sensor Y3/6N3/speed sensor.
He checked everything else on the engine with MB star everything ok.
After he cleared all the faults took for a test drive and its still in Limp Mode (stuck in 1st gear and no tiptronic)

Please Help I am trying to get it repaired to sell. I put it on ebay with the fault on the gearbox but understandably no one was interested.

Is the plug/harness/TCU free of oil?

Yes I think so had gearbox ecu out looked ok, cleaned plug at gearbox end with contact cleaner, and has had a new conductor plate connector plug thingy aswell.

Did you ever find out what was wrong with your gearbox I’m having the same problem I’ve changed the conductor plate cleaned everything up and it’s still stuck in gear
