Ml280 2008 fitting android stereo

Hiya..OK I have ml280 2008 plate..I bought a andriod thing off amazon..says it fits etc..I have got stereo out fine..there is the loom, then 2 cables I assume one is for the antenna the other??? Plus only 1 connection that they can go in which is the antenna..then power it up and it didn't work at all, nothing..replaced old stereo and again that wouldn't power up, after playing with loom it came back on..any help please people thatnkyou for your time

It might help if you posted a picture and some information about the "android thing" and your current head unit as there are a number of different types that could be fitted.
