All Mercedes Dealers I have contacted have refused to sell me one unless I own a ML55 ! (which I don't) .

If they are serious, they will ask for a chassis number. a bit like BMW and ordering original "M" parts.

Whos to tell ? (apart from real avid Mercedes lovers) and the extra noise when cold at startup.

I'm no boy racer and the car will mainly be used to cart the kids around.

I think the ML55 badge will really suit the car especially as its in black.

Oh well everyone has different views and opions.

...all you need now is the AMG styling pack, wheels, exhaust, lowering springs, bonnet and grill to finish the look

IMO (I don't want to upset anybody)

I'm not to keen on the AMG styling pack (front changes etc) and I don't think it really adds much to the car.

The exhaust I'm told is an AMG one , I may try and obtain a AMG chrome grill from ebay.

The bonnet and wheels are too many £s for me to do anything about.

Lowering Springs - Umm thats a thought now, will require about this.

Thinking about getting some sort of parking aid now - more research...
