It looks like a previous owner wore Levis, the studs cause wear in that position or in the case of cloth rips.That's not to say the car hasn't been clocked.

The E320 Cab is surely a collector's car of the future (if not already). It looks stunning, doesn't rust too badly, is fairly reliable and not many of them out there.
Agree the driver's seat looks like it's had a hard life for a garaged car with 80K. The rest of it looks superb though.
Replace the front bumper for a facelift one and the wheels for 17s and you're good to go.
Can anyone get the VIN and check it?

What is the switch and blanked off switch on the right above the heater dials?

On the W124 cabriolet the switch thats above the heater dials & to the right, is the one that enables you to manually adjust up & down the rear tombstone/headrests, theres also a button for the rear passengers to do this, which is situated on the rear of the centre console next to the rear ash tray...
