Mobile phone into 2003 CLK

So I am picking up the 2003/03 CLK 55 AMG next week.

It has been factory pre wired for a phone - with the cradle (not UHI) in the armrest - for a Nokia 6310i

As Sir Sod (writer of Laws) would have it I use a Sony 750i, with the corresponding UHI cradle in my M Class.

Obvious options are

1) Buy a 6310i from e-bay - pay as you go simm - and run two phones (with call divert between them

2) Buy a UHI conversion kit (£500) from Braybrooks and a UHI cradle (£100) for my SOny 750i

3) Buy a 6310i and a 6310i cradle for my M class (yukk!)

Does anyone have any views on these ? Or is there a fourth option ?

You've summarised the options pretty well already.

You can either upgrade to UHI, Braybrooks do a kit for about £500 + fitting or you can do as many others do...

...Buy a 6310i off ebay and leave a PAYG sim in it. Then divert calls from your normal phone to the PAYG.
