More issues with brakes?

To be honest i did use Kwik Fit for a couple of tyres recently as they were much cheaper (Good Year Eagle Assym 5's). However i took the loose wheels to them and watched them. I wouldn't even trust them to jack up the car and take the wheels off to be honest. Saying that, they did do the tyres well and took a lot of care.

I last visited in 2013 when I took my wife's Fiat 500 (now departed) there for its final MOT before selling it, I lost what little confidence I had in them, when they failed the car on an out of alignment headlight, which on that particular car were bi-xenon and therefore self-levelling. Incompetent is not the word.

Halfords for pushbikes
Kwikfit for tyres & exhausts
Not exactly diagnostic emporiums

I wouldn’t trust Halfords for bikes either-the amount of times friends bring nearly new bikes to me from Halfords to be fixed, due to being assembled by idiots.

In their defence they fail all the time on that......they still can go out of adjustment, especially if knocked and if not correctly aligned in the first place the self levelling will always be wrong. Had that conversation with a few customers .......after failing them!!

Fair enough, but given who they are and poor experiences many years ago, I don't trust anything they say. Their reputation in my eyes is non-existent.
