mercedes c200k w203 year 2001
Hi all.
I decided do fix up a 2001 c200k w203 with a long list of faults so if anyone could help with the following. Passager side mirror indicator and mirror motor is not working I've checked the bulbs with swapping them to the drivers side and all fuses and no joy. I've an srs fault up which I think is caused by the drivers seat as a mount underneath is missing on one side allowing it's to move around. I have this coolant and washer lever fault even after changing both sensors and I've not noticed the radiator fan running even with the coolant temp up to 90 degrees. My obd reader tells me that I have a p0401 lambda sensor gone number 2 after the cat and my mass air flow reading does not change from 10.83 is this correct.

Thanks in advance.

There is a wiring loom feeding the wing mirror, and the wires can chafe causing this sort of problem.

Instead of replacing the loom, you can remove the mirror glass and rear cover and then use a soldering iron to repair any broken wires.

The SRS fault needs to be read using an MB-Aware code scanner (the SRS ECU is not covered by the standard ODBII protocol), such as Autel MaxiDiag, or better still MB STAR. But yes, the Front Passenger Seat Occupancy Sensor is a likely candidate if you car is equipped with this feature.

Good luck with the car, and welcome to thr Forum.

Thanks markjay.

I've had mirror cover off but only checked the internal connections on the lamps so I'll check the rest tomorrow. As for the drivers seat occupier sensor is there any way of testing it.

Last count before I got confused was 14 :(
