My 2006 B 200 Mercedes wont start after battery failure any ideas many thanks.

Good evening everyone,

My B 200 Mercedes was running fine and I accidentally left the side lights on so drained the battery.

I have recharged the battery but the car will not start,I can hear the fuel pump but no startup when turning the key

Any help would be most gratefully received

The car turns on all the dash etc but when you turn the key there is nothing

Battery has probably given up completely, time for a new one I suspect.

The battery is new and I took it back where I bought it to get checked it was fine, I am wondering could a relay be the problem many thanks.

Check for codes first, it’s possibly something completely unrelated.

Hello all codes are clear,the car just wont start no crank at all thanks.

Try checking the starter motor.
