I have just been contacted by a gentleman who has just purchased my previous coupe. He has had the car re sprayed and it is looking lovely.Some of you older members will remember some of the frustrations i had with some of the work that had been carried out on it, and to top everything off some scum bag had seriously scratched it.
One of the last jobs that i was told that needed doing (due to loss of water) was the cylinder head gasket. I have just been told by the new owner that a mercedes garage had assessed the problem on the cooling fan, letting the car get too hot and passing water out the back!...
..which has now been fixed. The car has been given a new lease of life and it was like meeting up with someone from friends reunited...! 
I have advised the new owner of this site and i hope he will join up shortly !
