Since having my clk the cd changer never worked in the glovebox. Seems like everything's connect in the back of the stereo and the changer itself does have power as the magazine does pop in and out.

Any ideas thanks

Does it show there are discs loaded?

What exactly happens when you select a disc?

Mine was acting up and not playing so I took the unit out, checked all the conn's and also used long cottonbuds dipped in meths to clean the lens, poked around a bit but you can do it through the slot if careful without taking all the plastics off.

Been fine ever since...

Hi

If I pressed the cd button it just says no cd.

Just pulled the charge out to have a look and all cables seems connected. When you put the magazine in should it make any noises.

Yes it should go through the discs to see which slots are loaded

does your car have any aftermarket adapters e.g ipod connectivity?

No I don't think so just the standard audio 10 unit. But I think the units faulty as sometime when I turn the car on, it's quite quiet with a buzzing noise. To get rid of it I have to turn car off and back on again

sounds like some loose/ poor connections tbh. Some times my cd mag gets stuck and wont come out says no cd. light tap with a mallet sorts it out. Does the eject button light up when you press it? Is it the correct magazine? Is the Cd changer really loose?

Yeah the button lights up and the mag sits in perfectly

Got same problem with my cd changer which is in the boot. not worked since i got the car. Head unit seems to work fine. The changer seems to be powered up in that the slide cover moves itself when button pressed. The head unti just says 'no cd'. I've filled the changer magazine with 6 genuine cd's and it slots in fine and closes.

What should i be looking for?

Mine is the same, loads CD's but shows NO CD ?

Whereabouts are you?

I have a spare CD auto changer for my C32 which I bought from another (well respected) member, but which I've never tested. I bought it knowing that the Alpine sourced auto changers jam from time to time, but never needed it.

If you're local then you're welcome to use it test if it's your auto changer.
