My first Merc

Welcome,that's a rare beast

Very nice car. Always love the coupe version of the E. enjoy

Took the car for a decent drive on A roads yesterday and it is quite easily the best car I’ve ever had , and I’m not in my first flush of youth 🙁
Firstly I washed it using the two bucket method , squeegeed and dried it , then gave it a coat of Sonax BSD. Pics below.
I used it in comfort mode, which is probably the setthing I’ll use 99% of the time I’d imagine. It is just so smooth , quiet and refined, even on 20” alloys. There is a serious amount of grunt should you need it at any speed. The gear changes are so refined that you could be forgiven for thinking that the car only had one forward gear, there is just no sensation of it changing .
Then there is the Burmester system , top notch.
And to cap if all off , the last 100 miles have averaged , according to the trip computer, 48.7 mpg 😲
Granted there was no Tom foolery just the odd release of more horses than was actually required , but deary me, 48.7mpg 😳😳.

If it’s keyless press the button twice without putting your foot on the brake :)
agreed. That’s what I do with my wife’s car.
looks lovely. We’ve got a C class coupe As a courtesy car in that colour, it looks stunning in the sun.
