Interestingly, I let my ex drive my old pride and joy (208 CLK) once.

No lie, all she had to do was drive from the shops back home.

It was about 600 yards.

Within this distance, she managed to get us flashed by a speed camera!


Never again.

I bought my other half a 124 estate 20 years ago and she is still in a Mercedes today.

It's been fine, don't worry!

Apart from the two times she tried to write off the 124, but they are made of sterner stuff! The time she knocked down a lamp post with the back of the C180, the time she took out the sill of the SLK and the attacks on the 20" wheels on the ML which I thought would drive over anything!

Apart from that....it's been fine!
