On the off chance that anyone is considering spunking £25k on a 2010 C63, I've found my old car for sale (about a month after I part-exed it).

MERCEDES-BENZ C CLASS 6.3 C63 AMG 7G-Tronic 4dr Saloon for sale in Kings Langley | Auto Trader

Looks like the dealer has put some poncey new wheels on, and given it a "sports suspension by H&R", whatever that is.

Happy to provide more history info if anyone needs it, and provide an opinion on how much margin is in the dealer's asking price....

How much was the margin out of curiousity?

Difficult to know what they bought it for at auction.

It looks like they have spent some money getting it detailed, which the paintwork definitely needed as it was more swirly than a windfarm in a hurricane. I'd guess £1k on that. Probably £1.5k on the wheels and tyres (just a guess). Don't know what the "H&R suspension" cost, never heard of that.

Probably close to 20% margin if they bought it for what I p/x-ed it for.

I like the windfarm comment!

Out of interest, was there anything wrong with the wheels and suspension?

Estimating what you let it go for, that's a lot of car for the money, even if it was more sirly than a windfarm in a hurricane!

I got more than Glass's top end on part-ex, plus a very hefty discount off list, so overall I was happy.

There was nothing wrong with the suspension (other than it's not as good as the W205).

The wheels had corrosion marks from the same source as the swirly paintwork, my local money laundering outfit/hand car wash. One had been welded after hitting a pothole, but I guess all 4 could be refurbed for a few hundred quid. I assume the dealer still has them.

Nice car - wheels are quite Ok but would prefer originals

Not sure about the wheels on a black car.
