Just bought 04 amg nearly mint it's a beauty, But my 2000 amg seems quicker can it be my imagination.

What year is that? It is absolutely stunning. Yoiu've got me looking on autotrader to see how much they are. For the same price I paid for my B class you can pick up a '03 model with 70,000miles. Im just trying to work out how to shoe horn the family into it now.

Just a shame like other AMG 55 cars they don't have the twin twin pipes why is that on the CLK models? even one each side like the E class sports?

I thought the same. Even one each side I prefer to a single twin, to balance it up but it still looks the part.

Did all early '00s AMGs get a single twin exhaust? It wasnt until '05> that they started getting quads.

CLK63 has quad pipes. Prior to that they were all just twins.

CLK63 CAB still comes with twin... 05+ CLK55 COUPE comes with quad pipes from factory

No not keeping the 2000 it went yesterday 27th, I agree with everyone about the twin pipes though but this car is like new just couldn't resist buying it, keeping the old reg though(W 55 clk) the replacement is a 2004 still cant believe it's mine.

Detailing is when a car is very thoroughly cleaned and made shiny (the act itself, though threads here often include photos showing the completed car). If you're only posting photos of the end product with no information on how it got that clean then it belongs in "Members Gallery" though your thread would be unable to receive replies there.
