Nav disc identifification

Can anyone tell me how to tell if a disc is burnt or pressed
& should the genuine disc be pressed.

A burned DVD will have a dark bluish colour, which may be in two distinct bands if the disc hasn't been filled. A pressed DVD will have a very obvious metallic appearance, usually silver or gold.

Genuine disks could be either, depending on the production process. I'd hazard a guess that high volume productions would be pressed.

So is there any way of knowing what is genuine or not.
