Need to find an autobox

Can anyone guide me please. Where can I get an autobox for a 208 clk 230 kompressor and how much its going to be for one?

I have searched the net for one but cannot find any info on it.

A MB specialist looked at my car. He says I need a new autobox? I've posted my troubles in forum "gear wont shift out of P".

All reviews about the car say the autobox is faultless...I guess not.

If you live anywhere near Leeds there is a MB specialist (retired) that rebuilds auto tranys. He takes them to bits and replaces anything that needs replacing. He did mine for ca £550 and it is as smooth as a nut.

I was told at the time that a new trany would be upward of £1700. Then again mine is a 94 W124 but I would say that a rebuild would be the cheapest option

Thanks. I got a quote on a replacement for 300 ponds. I am inquiring about a rebuild. Maybe it'll be cheaper.

I got some prices to have my 124 box reconditioned the quotes were £1200 up, so I would try and find a low mileage box from a breakers £300 seems like a good price...

£300 is very cheap, a rebuilt box won't be cheaper than that.
