New E-Class convertible?

Hello

Just wondered if anyone had any news on the new E-Class convertible? In terms of dates available to order, engine line-up, price guesstimates? Etc...?

I did ask the local dealer when mine was in for a service last month, but they didn't seem to know anything that I could find on Google in 3 seconds.

Really like the idea of an E43 cabriolet to replace the E400 next June, but I'm not sure if it will be made? With the C43 cabriolet now available, is there a place for a (slightly) bigger brother?

Any thoughts and insights welcome...

You appear to know as much as anyone now. No one knows for sure when it's out, not exactly what it will look like. The coupe will come out first though.

I, for one, can't wait!

According to this the coupe is scheduled early 2017 the cabriolet late 2017 ----So maybe wise to stop holding your breath for now?

They are going to have to do something special to better the C207 coupe based on the old w204 chassis which was an outstanding looker in facelifted form in comparison to most of its melted blancmange siblings.
