New E Class E250 CDI Avantgarde

Got mine a week early - last Wednesday. Since I plan on keeping it a while I got a second set of wheels with winter tyres and swapped them the same day - glad I did now. The car is brilliant IMHO. I'm sure you'll be pleased with it.

Out of interest how much were they and what sort of wheels/tyres did you get for your 2nd set and was this via the dealer? Am thinking of getting some winter wheels/tyres for mine as has been sat on the drive since the snow arrived as RWD with Bridgestone RE50 265/35/18s = no go on snow!!

I got the standard alloys (A2124010902) and 245/45 R17 Conti TS 830 P tyres from alloywheelsdirect.net at just under £1600 delivered.

Worth considering a set of Socks -only £50, stow easily in boot till needed and machine washable. See the 'movie' at foot of home page in this link: -

Developed in Norway.

I agree - I have heard good things about these 'socks' and for £50 you can't really go wrong...

(Some say that it is worth getting two sets with rear wheel drive cars though)
