New GL review

www.honestjohn.co.uk has a review of the new GL after a launch party in Iceland. This is a big 4x4, bigger than a Toyota Land Cruiser. Very favourable review - he prefers it to the ML. What got me drooling all over my keyboard was reading that for the first time the V8 420 CDI will becoming to the UK.

Just to add to Honest John's review:

I have seen the pricing confirmation for the GL. I can't remember the exact numbers but I think it was around £51k for the GL320 CDi and then a big jump to around £63k for the GL420 CDi and the GL500.

I don't believe that the 4.7l V8 petrol (badged 450) will come to the UK in any model. I think that due to the popularity of diesel DCUK can't justify having 2 petrol V8 engines (excluding AMG models).
