Hi all, I’ve just rejoined, having left a few years ago when I sold my SLK. Before that I had a lovely silver W123 estate, and a mad gold W211 saloon!

Now I’m looking for a really sound 5l A209 or A207 350 convertible.

Oxfordshire based, look forward to getting stuck in to a new Mercedes relationship!

Hi, yes mine is still available, every time I drive it I think I'll keep it then I get home and see all my other cars and realise it needs a new home! I really want it to go to an enthusiast who will look after it in the future the same way it's been looked after in the past so it is only listed here and on pistonheads.com. I'm contactable through either.

Are you still looking for £1500 more than you paid for it?

Always wonder what motivates posts like that - although sadly many car forum seems to have one.... Anyway, Neil, as it's not the first time you've asked, an answer must be really really important to you, so..... The new owner of my CLK will pay £7500 which is less that the total of the price I paid over a year ago, the new wheel and tyres I fitted and the other improvements I've made to raise the condition from excellent to one of the very best in the country. The market for V8 CLKs in the perfect spec and condition is continuing to rise as so many cars have been abused and neglected. My car is priced right and I'm sure the new owner will be very happy. Anyone who has owned a Mercedes product will know that the cheap ones to buy always become the most expensive to own.

How come it hasn’t sold? It’s been on sale since early August.
Your price is obviously too high.
