Greetings and felicitations;
My name is Richard, and I've just become the (proud?) owner of a rather rough 1996 E220 Estate - hence the RichardW124 monica (maybe should have been RichardS124 but...
I owned a 1990 230TE for many years, 140,000 when bought, 340,000 when persuaded to scrap it two years ago by the garage I use.. worst mistake of my life. Spent 6 months in mourning and 18 months hunting... This one has 183K on it so should get a few good years out of it.
It's just had a full service Inc. auto oil & filter change.. the car has a full service history, but judging by the sludge from the box it's not been changed in a decade. Had to change the spheres, remarkable change, no longer a vomit comet.. List of to-dos too long to list and far too expensive to put on a spreadsheet or discuss with my better half, but hey ho everyone needs a hobby.....
