Hi Guys

Just got a 05 Slk 2 owners full Mercedes history from the same garage it has done 54,000 it is a automatic.

Any members in Aberdeenshire know about them as was looking to get it looked at to see if its a sound car. Seems ok but would like to know

Wicked thought. We did a 5 day tour of Scotland last May and had the top down every day

Welcome! My wife has a 04 SLK200 and you can't get the grin off her face when she drives it, especially with the top down! She secretly poses because kids jaws drop when she opens/closes the roof :bannana:

My SL roof comes down just about every day ; although it went back up driving home from Aberdeen during storm Doris recently .

Welcome to the forum Rob ; I'm sure others have mentioned a Mercedes specialist Indy in Aberdeen but can't remember who it is . I can recommend a few in Glasgow area if any help ...

Oh , quite a lot of dealerships offer a free winter safety inspection , if cynical you may view it as a way of generating work for their service department , but if any serious faults they ought to pick them up .

Unless that's where you bought the car ?

Thanks for your reply's I am not so much interest in the car for its roof but for its reliability. I was thinking that someone near me may have a SLK and could have let me know if he has had any issues
