New, old member!!

Hi Guys

I registered on this forum a long time ago, when I owned my clk320 (209 model).

I have recently purchased a 2013 E350cdi coupe, so decided to log back in. For some reason I cannot reply to posts and I was suggested I make an intro post, so here I am. Hopefully I can gain some knowledge of my car and add to the forum also.

Can I just say the same... I'm a new/old member.
I think I first joined when I had a CLK(209) coupe, but since then I've been a 190E (201) owner until last year (2023) when I sold it.
The thing is... I'd really like another 190E so I'm keeping my eyes peeled for one.

An elderly friend of mine has too many cars (6 for 2 drivers) & this one has been shuffled to the back of the pack & under utilised. He's having a car clear out, hoping to get down to 3 cars. I suggested an ad here before it gets punted out to a wider audience on ebay or AT. It is a 1990 'G'...

I just tried calling my old local Mercedes specialist Matt at Continental Cars in Cardiff to ask if he knew of any likely 190Es for sale - only to find they're no longer in business. Sad news, they were good people and very knowledgable.
So, who else should I call - ideally somewhere in Cardiff or close by? (Both for sourcing a car and for ongoing maintenance.
