Hi All,
Am doing, and no doubt will continue to ask noob questions, thanks in advance for the help.
My first Merc, had been loyal to BMW/Porsche but really wanted to try a big V8 while I still could and our 18 month old baby was an excuse to change cars for a wagon.
Had it a couple of weeks, looked at a few cars and spent a while looking....then realised that none were going to be perfect at 10 years old and I had to take the plunge. This one turned up up North and seems very genuine, low owners, full Merc history, no obvious evidence of paint, pretty clean inside, decent level of prep etc.
I had thought about waiting for one with HK and an LSD but these seemed very very rare. Not many good, fairly priced wagons about now it seems. Looked at a PP wagon but the condition gave me some concerns so when this came up in my favourite colour I are some balls and did the deal.
It's a fully standard car, (apart from the refurbed wheels) as I wanted.... loving it so far.
Cheers, Guy
