Hi, just acquired a CLK350 sport convertible first reg Jan 06
Having driven for a few days I'm aware if a few issues that over time I need to sort.
1. Inoperative "comfort" seats, you know the lumber and side support thingy's. The electric seat adjustment works just fine. Any ideas what to check? Also the tops of the 4 switches are missing, can I get these somewhere (assuming I can get the seats to work at some point
2. The Radio head unit has a film which is starting to de-laminate. Anyone had this and is there a fix?
3. My sound system is the basic version but with a cd changer. I need a ipod connection, preferably by bluetooth, and would like to install some form of sat nav. What are the options, aftermarket Head unit?
4. Ive a broken (drivers side) window switch. Its one of the small ligs on the underside of the plastic switch that's broken. Still operable but I have to be very careful. Is this part available or am I looking at a whole new switch assembley?
5. The boot separator sometimes inhibits operation of the soft top. I believe this may be the switch which senses the position. Is this a common problem?
6. I've a small dribble at the frontside of the hood, I'm not sure if this is just poor waterproofing of the hood, bad window alignment, or worn seals. Anyone else experience this?
Otherwise...... lovely
and potentially better than my former Jag XF
I'd really appreciate any thoughts on the above before I plan my "fixes"
