Had a set fitted the other day to replace the very worn P Zeros I bought 18k or so miles ago. Rears were shot, fronts badly enough worn to tramline annoyingly.

The P7's are supposed to be very quiet and I can confirm they are. Barrelling down the M40 yesterday I noticed wind rustle from the driver's door mirror for the first time. Went to check that the window was properly shut before realising it was a new noise as the tyres were so much quieter than before.

The P7's were also extremely good at cutting through large amounts of standing water at speed.

All in all a good investment.

they better than the MO conti sports then?

I can't compare directly as I had the P Zeros fitted when I bought the car just under three years ago and IIRC it had P Zeros on it originally

I did have Conti Sport 2's on one of my C43's and I swapped them out for Goodyear Eagle GSD 3's and found the latter to be quieter and better in the wet.

Tyres do keep improving though and CS3's may be a whole different propostion.

All I know is that I was pleasantly surprised to find that the P7, which I had perceived as being more of a budget offering than the P Zero, was actually a great tyre.
