Not unique. I know of at least another W220 Pullman that is "brand new" and unregistered in this country.

There are also a couple in Europe as well.

Question is...Why did Mercedes never make a W220 Pullman using the facelifted front. Why are all W220 Pullmans pre-facelift?

Thats not a Guard model though, its a Pullman.

Guards cost £300k+ depending on the Nato spec of plating your require

Correct, but surely an armoured Pullman would need separate testing/dev to a standard S, hence not being economic to redo for the facelift? Hence (seeing how a fair percentage must be armoured) the whole pullman range stayed pre-facelift?

I liked the G-wagen with the 3" thick windscreen from someone's AMG factory collection thread on here; that's one hell of a bullet stopper
