New SL500 owner from West Wales

Hi there,
I just purchased a R230 SL500 2003 model year . The car has not been used very much since 2016 and requires some TLC.

I come from a Porsche background and currently still have a 2000 996

Looking forward to enjoying my new purchase, driving as well as fettling and will probably asking many many questions
I'm based near Aberaeron in West Wales having move up from Cornwall 7 years ago

Welcome to the group Nigel, and a great choice of car! Mine is the same year and model, lovely cars but they can be a bit fickle, well worth sorting though if you are planning on keeping it for the long term...

Thank you. Yes it is lovely.
Already had several jobs, new batteries fixed a lot of issues. But still have problems with locking, ignition key and roof/boot cover. But really lovely car. Intention is to keep for long term
Have a daughter in Cardiff, working in the Hospital. She moved up the same year as me, total co-incidence mind
