New SLC

My new SLC arrived today! Wow, it's certainly more than just a facelifted SLK!

Everything about it seems a bit more stylish, a bit more modern. Even the smaller, chunkier wheel feels better to use. The roof can now be opened on the move (up to 30ish) and all 4 windows can now be closed when the roof is down, if wanted.

The different drive modes are good, with Sport + really adding a dimension to the car my previous SLK didn't have!

I was sceptical at first about the SLC, but my first day's drive in it has changed my mind totally! Nicely upgraded and improved car! Thanks MB!

I was always a fan of tenorite grey which my previous car had, but this selenite I think is even nicer.

Upholstery is really nicely upgraded too, the red stitched, perforated leather has a really creamy texture, similar to my Lexus.

Well chuffed with it to be honest!

Mrs Gnomes really likes hers (SLC300) which certainly has fair turn of pace too. First service next week and she's done 10K in it!

It's a 250d, but the engine is a lot quieter and more refined than the 250 CDI before it and the 9 speed 'box is fabulous!
