While at Charles excellent Bicester GTG we had the opportunity to view this at a place near Bristol. After some too-ing and fro-ing on price I flew down to Bristol on Thurs and drove it back up to bonny Scotland.

An E350CDi Avantgarde (265) in Tanzanite Blue. This one came with a panny roof, tan memory contour seats and a nice wood/leather wheel.

Investigating as to why the load floor wouldn't lie completely flat I discovered the previous owner had ditched the get-you-home spare in favour of a full size matching alloy and Michelin tyre. Both unused :bannana:
The floor lies flat without the plastic insert so i'll 'do' something creative with that in weeks to come. Also, it needs a towbar and wiring fitted.

Finally...8hrs on the road eventually saw me home. That M5 - M6 is a moving disaster area. 42mpg not bad for a first try all the same.
Not quite up to ***'s prodigious standards but when I got the chance I wasn't hanging about.

I do like a bit of leather and wood so I'm well chuffed. :D:D

Good choice of car , great minds think alike. Nice interior, mines all black and it's like sitting in a cave. Smillion's porcelain interior has got me itching. Impressed by the mpg Druk, I don't think I've seen 40+ on mine yet

Great car - nice to see someone was brave on the colour choice at the outset (and you profit!). Same paint and leather scheme as my departed c63 - i wish i had been able to get that wood in the AMG.

Enjoy.

Looks nice.

fantastic colour combination

lovely interior :)

Congratulations, Derek. Lovely car :thumb:

Superb , looking forward to seeing it !

There are some 20 variations of the Cargo Floor covering-- Spare Wheel Well on the EPC
The ones to check out are those without code 690 emergency spare tyre [mini spare] option If your spare wheel liner has code 690 in its code
e.g. U42-U77+4U7+690+810 then you might get an alternative one suitable for a full size spare----- But it won't be cheap!

Nice car hope you enjoy it !

Very, very nice. Oh the glorious M5 & M6. Even so, I'll bet you still had a big smile on your face heading north. Enjoy.

Lovely car with a very nice interior. I nearly bought a '12-plate E350 wagon with a grey interior and the pano roof, it was a lovely place to be. I can't abide all black interiors and when I decided to lease an new E class in July, out of all the cars the broker could lay his hands on only one wasn't black leather inside.

Too late. SWMBO has already christened it YORKY. :D
