Finally with weather on the good side got around to shooting the new toy
Swapped out of a 09 plate CDI W245 Sport and what a difference. Tthe W246 is like going from a Vauxhall to a Merc when coming from a W245.
While the old B wasnt horrid it was noisy and cramped especially for me plus the CVT box resulted in some poor mpg.
With two kids in the back only choice was to drive each time in order to be comfortable (seat position etc) Now I have enough room to swing a cat. I'm 6'2" and for first time in a car I can easily turn fully round in passenger seat to check on the kids who have tons of space. Finally can be once again driven around as they say beer o'clock
OK wish I could have specced a new one off the book to add few small bits like adaptive lights, rear armrest but with a 6month plus waiting list at the time this one came up and was hard to miss out on especially with the old B needing tons of service work to keep it on the road.
So here it is
W246 Sport CDI200 Auto. Only option was heated Seats but the major bits being standard the items missed out on are just bonus.
Annoyingly spotted that 2013 models now come with twin exhaust. Doh
