Hello to all. This is my first post. I am trying to get a follow-on Warranty for my 2008 c-class C220 CDI automatic after the first year dealer warranty has expired. I've had a quote from Warranty Direct and wondered if anyone else has had a Warranty with them and how good they are to deal with. Any reply about warranty in general would be helpful.

I am also looking at WD as an option if i buy a E55 AMG - seems bit hit and miss from feedback.

jimmyca69; Had a quote from MB after expiry date which was £500 more than renewal. However, within 30days of existing warranty expiry WD offered from start date with them the same cover as old warranty and at a lesser price than MB renewal! Both are insurance backed schemes so the "what is covered section" matters. Gmerc

WD are ok. Be prepared to stand your ground if you think they are not honouring the policy. If they want to inspect your car before agreeing cover (they did with mine), be there when the chap does it. I wasn't, and the report was full of shocking errors.
They were reasonable premium-wise, and I'm glad I took mine out. They paid up, and I renewed.
