Hi, I'm Ian and a first time Merc owner.
Just got a 1997 SLK230K and like it alot, however, only done 60 miles and the auto transmision has just gone into limp mode.
So I'll let you know how I get on when it's back from the garage.

Car back from the garage, gearbox sorted and changing smoothly.
They changed filter and gearbox oil and cleared the fault codes,hope this fix's it for good
