Ah pity, To be honest its going to be a couple of months before im in a position to buy and also depends how much i can get for the box on wheels, as you might have guessed i despise the MG, n cheers sweet pea x

Welcome to the forum.

These are great cars, they're generally reliable, comfortable and great value for money.

The main issues to look out for when buying one are rust on the bodywork for e.g. arches, doors and boot lid. Ensure that the wiper works correctly because it will be expensive to fix when it goes wrong.

Also make sure the car drives nicely and the gear changes are smooth, and full service history is a must.

Take your time when choosing the right one because there are quite a lot of poorly neglected examples out there, so finding a good one can be quite difficult.
