Hi All,
I'm a newbie to this board and hoping I can get some advice from the members. I Own a CLK500 w209 2003 with lpg. The car is absolutely amazing.


I have a starting problem and the local specialist has said the crankshaft sensor needs replacing. I managed to get a febi part but for the life of me cant find the sensor on the car. The dealer and most of the websites point to the drives side of engine. When I asked the dealer they suggested it was on the passenger side.

Iv spent hours trying to locate the dam thing in the dark with no success. I'm going to have a go over the weekend and wondered if anyone has replaced on in the past and knows exactly where to locate it.
