Nice looking w126 300SE

Very nice indeed, the only things that put me off are the fact that he does not say how long he has owned the car for, and the fact that it has not been serviced for 4 years.

Fantastic old luxobarge though.

bit off topic I know but...

[sighs] I popped my Mercedes cherry at the tender age of 18 in a 1988 one of these when it was brand spanking new. I used to work in a bar and one of the wealthy regulars asked if I would mind driving him the next day as he had drunk about his own body weight in Southern Comfort. Didn't need asking twice. Happy days.

That on does look nice, I still prefer the coupe, but I would still love one:)

It is nice. Is 4 years (and only 12k miles) too long to go without a service?

presumably the first thing you would do with an old beast like that is change every fluid anyway (regardless of the service middle 2007)

I like it. Natalie and I were looking at a few in an old Merc magazine last night - if i had not got my heart set on an e500 (or e60 AMG if i make too much money;) ). in truth this one is probably a better bet long term bet if you just want a class tool to bettle around in.

someone will probably be happy if they negotiate a good price
