I'm just not sure that sort of car needs that engine.

The people who can probably afford that probably already have a second or third fun car and it just seems wrong in an S class. A S500 would waft along quite nicely.

Love the 'eco' button on dash...

Funny as a new S class went past me today S320Cdi and it looked superb, full body kit and AMG wheels. Lovely car...ooh and in Silver

I think the W221 is one of the few Mercedes I think looks much better with a facelift, the first one is a bit on the ugly side, the S63 is gorgeous. Having driven a W216 CL600 I reckon that car would just be mental, like a supersonic cathedral.
