nice white W124 diesel estate with brown leather

yeh this has been for sale or a long time now, the guy selling this also sells parts, interiors etc i think

i guess w124 just dont bring the money people think they should. not to sure about the brazil leather think it would look better with black but thats a personal issue i guess, and its only a 5 seater yeh, i think that will hold it back too

nothing against brazil leather, i loved it in the gold w124 convertable that dash listed.

Does look a nice car. I like brazil leather but it does not really go with white. Black or navy interior would be better. Also lack of aircon may be a problem.

When i read the thread title , i thought 'Sounds nasty !' ...

But it actually works rather well doesn't it ?

Better than the normal white with black leather you normally see.

well we all seem to like it. anyone here bidding on it?

I was going to have a bid but I think it's overpriced now, especially not having aircon. Nice car though.

Is that interior original to the car? I thought by the H plate cars the newer style leather was used?

Personally I've never understood the premium for the diesel w124s. Having driven one briefly it seemed to me totally gutless, noisy as hell and horribly unrefined. If it's a matter of economy why not just by a 220 which does pretty much the same mpg, is much smoother, usually better spec and cheaper to buy.

" anyone here bidding on it?"
No, I'm looking for a coupe to go with the cabriolet:-)
Must have leather.
Nice to have azurite blue or almondine red, 95-97.
Don't like white or silver.

i think thats a personal choice, ive just replaced my black cloth with black leather, i think the black looks much better with the white than the brazil, its a shame the car on here isnt ivory or cream, then it would look really nice

shame no air con too

Yes , it is a personal choice.

I owned a w124 coupe that was arctic white with black leather. It was pretty plain , monochrome.

A coloured leather would have been much more pleasing to the eye.

plain, really well it must be personal because i think the black on white looks classic where the brazil looks like an after thought

everyone to there own

How much are you looking to spend??Is imperial red any good?

PS,post some pictures of your car

Imperial red could be fine, I haven't seen one in this colour but used to have that on an sl280 and it looked good to me, can't quite visualise the larger coupe in IRed.
I have only just decided to buy a coupe so have looked at ebay, Google etc to get an idea on pricing, i haven't really got a figure in mind and this will be just for fun so would prefer not to spend mega bucks nor go to the other end of the country to look. Do you know of one for sale nearby?

dash i would have that off you in a shot if i had the money

hope you sell it, although i guess you will be a little sad to see it go

you couldnt help me with my drivers seat cover change in nov could you dash? will have to swap seat belt buckles of the seats also

thanks buddy

Michael:I`d love to mate but it`s to do with trimmers, maybe a visit to Cass Brothers would help

thats lovely Dash.

Also love the early convertible posted earlier on.

Wish I had some readies :(

Thanks, d w124, it's a lovely car and the Imperial Red works on this model you have obviously looked after this well. I'm looking for something a bit more "conservative" without the AMG kit, say the 8 hole alloys. Even then I'm tempted it's so shiny:-)
