Me again..
Another problem has been going on for a while now..
I've got very low air output from the center vent with or without A/C on, removed pollen filter that made no difference and it was new anyway. Removed half the dash to expose those servo motors that command the flaps, some work others don't.. I've tried resetting the flap motors using a top level Autel scanner but it won't move any of the motors. Found half the flaps had melted seals around the edges of the flaps, sticky black goo.. maybe this caused the motors to burn out?
Anyway, short of removing the entire dash and heater unit (HUGE job and here in Rome it's 40 degrees..) i was wondering if there's a way of maybe jamming open the actual flap that lets air in from the fan?
The fan is in perfect nick and blasts a gale.. but not where needed..
Help here guys? i cooked an egg on the car's bonnet yesterday..Without a/c i'll die.
