Non Euro V8 Wagon .....

Nice if you like the unusual, but the performance is nothing special; a good 55K estate on similar mileage would cost much the same, perhaps less, and would eat it for breakfast, at least in a straight line. You wouldn't find too many indies to maintain it, either, nor parts immediately available everywhere. Likely to be pretty reliable, though, at least in the engine department.

They did do a supercharged version, but this one isn't it. One thing it does have, though, that the 55K doesn't is an oil pressure gauge...

Anywhere that deals with VXR8s and Monaros will recognise this - they are basically identical bar some badges.

True, but they haven't sold all that many of those in the first place.

Over a thousand between the 2. Which is nearly twice as many E55Ks if this pistonheads article is to be believed

That is one fugly looking wagon 🤮

Nice colour. But it's still a Vauxhall and looks it inside: I'd rather go for an S211 as it's a way better quality interior. That said, I reckon this wouldn't be difficult to maintain: the GM V8s are still very simple tech aren't they? Any old garage can probably look after it.
