Some of the cars in the "non Mercedes section" are just stunning.

Things have moved on so much in the car world since I left the UK. I feel a bit left out. :(

The Ciroen design is leaning towards Audi Looks good BUT it's French!

Agreed, the Citroen Concept car is absolutely beautiful.

From the front and side, I agree, but the treatment of the bootlid is less successful, particularly the fussy shutlines.

Have to say I'm warming to the Evoque, thought not in that colour, nor with those wheels.

I can see why you would warm to the Evoque...but when you think of the w*****s who will drive it, then ugh...

Is it just me or is the Ferrari 458 pictured (actually the car as a whole come to think of it) really quite ugly. I do not see beauty in it.

I think the 3rd Land rover Evoque looks a nice interesting car, but the 5dr one reminds me of an Audi A3 sport back jacked up

The alpina is a lovely timeless looking estate car, well done on BMW penning that.

And the citreon is marvelous.

From the other thread, the Porsche selection looks tasty/

I know they wont build it but I think that Citroen would definitely tempt me away from Merc. if the build quality was good. one of my favourite cars of all time is the DS and this is damn near as good looking. in a modern way.

is that before or after you might buy c63 ??

That Citroen is better looking than any Merc...but, it'll not be produced, and could you rely on it if it was.

IMO it's a shame that MB or one of the other German marques cannot acquire a few Citroen designers. Their current (particularly the larger cars) show real individualism both outside and inside, and the one's on this thread look even better.

My biggest criticism of modern Merc (in particular the W204 and W212) is the inside dash really does appear uninspiring, not something that can be said of Citroen.

Sadly you do have to be brave to buy a french car however....

The girl in the black dress is having a wardrobe malfunction. Her skirt has come apart at the hemline. You would have thought that somebody could have got in there with some Gaffa Tape and sorted her out, poor lass.

The DS9 has already been given the green light, it will go into production as a hybrid.

Having driven a C6 the only things that put me off are the slightly plasticy dashboard arrangement and controls, the average performance and the high emissions of the 2.7 V6 HDi and it was a bit short of seat reach for me.

You can blame Peugeot for the above for making the car be made too bland and to too much of a price target, but the DS9 is a whole new car and will be stunning.

The C6 is more refined and quieter than an S class, it was incredibly quiet.

If you read my more recent posts on the subject of C63 purchase you'd know I have just spent over £140,000 (actually that was my 1st offer I ended up getting it for $260,000, not worked out what that is in "£ yet) on a villa in Florida so have, for now blown the car budget. I,ve therefore decided to pay up my PCP on the CLS and keep that for a year or two.
As I said in the post that you quoted Citroen probably wont build this car as is but, if they do then it will be in a few years time and I will be back in a position to buy. I wasnt aware that you neeeded every detail spelling out and for that over sight I apologise. Dhead
For the rest of the club pictures will follow, I'm not going to rent it out for this year but if anyones interested my son will be constructing a website and I will be renting it out during the summer months from next year. :thumb:

Better get saving quickly, it's going into production 2012.

I think Citroen should build a small number of the GT racer, it's a fantastic car. What other car has been built only as a result of a computer game?
