Nordschleife compilation

Classics thanks for sharing, isn't it amazing how many people in high performance cars have no idea of how to correct a skid or slide and the amount of over correction demonstrated is unreal.

I should think a few of those following cars might need some seat fabric cleaner

Some of those sound effects sound like they come from an altogether different kind of German movie.

Over correction because they didn't catch it early enough:doh:

Cant help but notice how 'track day cars' are usually very low and very stiff. Not ideal for those bumps!

Agreed low and stiff and you are asking to get launched, I once drove a Caterham CSR around the ring, what a handful felt like you were going to be airborne on every bump. I then drove a Golf R32 and did BTG nearly 50 seconds faster than the Caterham and it felt a lot safer more planted drive

Strangely quite a few cars seem to skid with the front wheels locked.

Looks like the red Audi Quatro has no ABS?

Or maybe it is just the frame rate causing an optical illusion...

Its an unforgiving place and can show up the inexperienced or downright wreckless driver in a corner. In the wet its a whole new world ... (and one I avoid!) and having been driven round by a quick driver when raining, it highlights that the dry racing line isn't the safest when soaked!

I wonder how many started by saying, "Watch this!" and ended up saying, "I meant to do that."

GTR shows its handling skills at 1:49 :)

I watched quite a few of these now. Entertaining stuff

Got to say - that Armco is pretty unforgiving.
