Bit of a random one... Noble M12 GTO-3R up on collecting cars at the moment. They don't do very well in auctions and fetch well below what they make outside auctions, so there have been some real bargains over the last few years.

Hard to imagine a more engaging and rewarding car for the money. And not bad performance either.

The guy selling it has (at least) two of these, and just doesn't use it. He's very well known in the Noble community. I don't know him, just posting here as it's a rare opportunity for a bargain on a rare performance car.

Yes, great cars, but certainly not luxurious! Deceptively comfortable though, ignoring the entry/exit difficulties.

I can’t recall the circumstances but I’m sure Mike Brewer struggled to find one a few years ago on Wheeler Dealer. I think he bought one from abroad in the end.

That's right they did. It was a 2.5 GTO from Italy I think. I think they cut the chassis to put in a 6sp box or LSD or track day sump. One of those!

I was just looking around the net re OM651 engines and found this thread

Coincidental, yesterday I saw a video re oil leaks to the above engine, The vlog/video was very detailed
and intersting

As the OM651 engine is in a mass of Mercs - anyone searching this site re oil leak on a OM651
may find the video very helpful as it details the parts, OE parts and this time around they are not
expensive for MB genuine parts
