Hi good people of MB Club,
I am distraught to the point of heart break! Took my beloved R reg C280 auto elegance for its annual and the Doc said "soz, no ticket, you need some surgery, beyond economical repair or be honest"
Mainly due to the annoying little combo of lights that won't go out, among other minor things.
So apologise, I have been researching, done the brake switch thing but no joy. The car has been to a techie who advises it's the ABS ECU and pump? Checked him out with a few garages, we'll respected and knowledgeable so no reason to doubt.
Please good people, where can I buy at reasonable prices such an item where I'm not seeing figures into the hundreds of pounds, what could be advised to minimise my costs other than sending it to the Merc yard in the sky.
Scrap yards? Second hand dealers? Who/where?
Really appreciate any input here to ease my pain.
