Evening all. Following on from my thread last saturday ,i am proud to say that I am now the owner of a CLK. Picked it up last night ,98 320 sport, dark metallic blue (cant remember the proper name now) ivory leather (probably white after its clean) sensible miles with mostly merc history and then specalist, and very reasonable price which leaves me a bit of change for tinkering from my budget. So far I'm chuffed with it, its not concours condition but it is very nice with just the odd little scratch or mark here and there. So to warn you all that you can expect a barrage of questions from here on in. Pics to follow after i 've cleaned it properly.

Welcome I have a Azurite Blue W208 CLK 230k with Brabus Upgrade tuning pack. Been using it this week whilst SWMBO has had the Volvo brings a big smile to my face every time I drive it. Great choice.

Just looked in the service book and mine is Azurite blue. Today in the sun it looked gorgeous!. My agenda for tomorrow is
1, Get the correct wiper as Euro car parts supplied me with the wrong one today (and charged me £27 for the privilege)
2, A proper wash and remove whatever polish is on it.
3, Give it a really good polish with Megs,
4, Clean and feed the leather
5, Go to the pub.

Was very pleasantly surprised by the insurance quote also, £270 fully comp for us both ,mind you we live in a really good area and its going to be garaged every night so I suppose that helps, that and the fact that i'm the insurance friendly side of 40 as well.

After being out in it today my wife seems as smitten as I am, so happy days all round!
