NTG2 problems

Hi all Im a newbe here and just got myself a 320 CLK 2002 w209
The guy that owned the car before me was a complete technophobe ... the main audio unit was still in german

So Ive managed to get the satnav and everthing setup except the clock !!! or rather the date on the clock, which will not highlight to change any information

Following other threads I have already tried setting the callibration of the satnav first but, nope, it just wont let me chang it from Jan 2000

Any help would be apreicated

I have the exact same issue. I can very briefly change mine via "SYS", "AUX", press and hold mute and the 1 and 3 buttons which gets you into the service menus, somewhere in there, I think under DIAGS, you can get the date and time correct but then it will default back to what you had before because it is set to look for satellite time, I couldn't find a way to switch it off. I think mine is because it cannot see any satellites I suspect yours will be the same, I also have a know working Nav cd but mine says the same as yours and will not read it as it aint spinning up. To get the correct time displayed I have chosen a country other than UK that is equivalent to BST .

FYI, thats COMAND 2.0 not NTG 2

As for your disk problem is yours a DX disk like mine if so you can get them for £29 from satnavishop.co.uk very helpful guys

The disk is fine it's the head unit not spinning the disk.

Ah that’s not good...
When I got mine it had a cd lodged inside the CD player [emoji849]
