Well I started dissecting the car this evening and managed to see the part number.
Found a new one in Germany for £383 plus post.

Bloody thing is out at last.
Stabiliser bar bolt was a pain.

OBD2 is a standard interface and protocol that all manufacturers have to follow.

Some allow far greater access to system diagnostics and settings than others.

SUCCESS
New pump is running and working well.
Flushing is easy nothing to worry about.
Engine is a lot quieter too with a new tensioner,idler and belt.

Sits between 182 and 193bar.
Drops to 169bar when I cycle it.
