OEM or aftermarket for suspension bits?

As per the title really, if I am to sort the front suspension (not go boy racer, just get it working nicely!) should I stick with OEM kit or is any of the aftermarket kit good? Any suggestions of good suppliers / manufacturers or maybe more importantly who should I avoid? Car is a '98 E300TD.

Many thanks,

Mike

Don't buy Q drive. We have attempted to use these utter pony parts when customers want cheapo stuff. I will not fit them anymore.

Lemforder are the best OEM make for suspension bits except springs. Only buy MB springs if you want standard ones..

Get the part numbers and check Parts Reunited: Auto Part Finder ! as well as people like Oli has recommended above - you may get a surprise!!
